Cue the Applause is a unique program, hosted by Dr. Briar Lee Mitchell and takes a fun, but informative look at Pop Culture and Entertainment. Dr. Mitchell, is herself a unique individual, having spent time with James Cameron in Antarctica, worked for Disney, Universal and Warner Bros. on feature animation, games, and TV shows (Yes! Including Pinky & The Brain). Over 4 decades, Dr. Mitchell had a successful career as a forensic/medical illustrator, and has written several books on a variety of topics, especially True Crime. Her book Serial Killers: Then & Now, has garnered excellent reviews.

About the Host: Dr. Mitchell
holds a master's degree in medical and biological illustration from the
University of California, San Francisco and a doctorate in educational
leadership/higher education. For 43 years she produced illustrations,
animation, research and writing for medical/ forensic projects which
included The Forensic Analysis of the April 11th, 1986 FBI Firefight with
French Andersen, MD. |

October 18, 2026 ShowTony MillardTony has been a "Birder" for over 50 years, originally in England and for the last 26 years here in Nova Scotia. While in the UK he was involved in many wildlife and conservation projects with the RSPB and other naturalist organizations. He is currently the NSBS President. Tony has worked in the automotive field all his life, originally with classic sports cars, then modern vehicles once he moved to Canada and is now semi-retired and based at Cape Forchu, Yarmouth County. He enjoys Birding and practicing his wildlife photography skills at every opportunity both in Nova Scotia and beyond.

Pegi Robinson is the Host of a YouTube channel called NDE TV. She has interviewed 500 guests in the last 5 years on the topic of Near-DeathExperiences. Pegi has had 2 NDEs. She was featured on Dr. Oz, on an episode called " Angel's Spoke To Me On The Other Side". Pegi's memoir The Will of a Wildflower is a recommended reading for students interested in working in child welfare, as well as into the study of Near-Death Experiences. Pegi is a retired Child Abuse Investigator, Correctional Counselor and Social Worker. She was a therapeutic foster parent for 60 kids and adopted 10. On July 19,2025, Pegi says God led her to information on how to cure her husband's "very aggressive and incurable" cancer. She realized, the message after her first NDE, had been meant for her husband all along, 60 years later. "The Will of a Wildflower" would cure her husband- using dandelion root. Her husband was cancer free and off chemo for 7 months after he started taking dandelion root tincture. When it returned in April, ivermevtin and fenbendole was added and the cancer was quickly gone again. The dandelion tincture Pegi's husband uses is now being tested at the University of Windsor in Canada, with great results, and is used as a cancer preventative by a foundation in Columbus Ohio. Pegi's husband's oncologist is also trying to begin testing it himself. The tincture has become their local health food stores best selling product online, thanks to Peg's YouTube channel bringing awareness, and news articles about their very difficult journey with cancer. |

Alexander Brazie is a 25 year veteran of Game Design,
having spent fifteen years as mechanics and systems designer on World of
Warcraft, League of Legends and Ori & the Will of the Wisps. In addition
to his successful background in boss fights and class design, Alexander

Dan Mazur Daniel Lee Mazur is an
American-British mountaineer, expedition leader, and philanthropist who
has summited nine of the world's highest peaks, including Mount Everest
and K2. Renowned for high-altitude rescues—such as saving Roman
Giutashvili (1991), Gary Ball (1992), Lincoln Hall (2006), and Rick Allen
(2018)—he often abandoned summit bids to preserve lives. Mazur co-founded
the Mount Everest Biogas Project and leads humanitarian efforts in Nepal
and Tibet, building schools, clinics, and cultural preservation projects.
He received the 2018 Sir Edmund Hillary Mountain Legacy Medal for
conservation and community service. |

Nichela Traber also known as Artists Avenue Cosplay, is a professional Cosplayer and Costume Designer. She graduated from WWU in 2022 with a Major in Costume Design and a Minor in Business, intending to make this once thought hobby into a full career. She works hard to create magical and out of this world creations with cosplay, while also keeping well within budget; and wants to teach others how to do so as well. Her goal is to open a shop to do just that, and provide the space for cosplayers to create, learn or get help and materials whenever they need. Because let's face it, there isn't one and there honestly should be. |

Jim Durocher A long time resident of Florida Jim Durocher has spent countless hours kayaking and sailing the azure waters in and around that tropical state. His time spent there is for pleasure, but also, for helping with finding better ways to protect the environment especially around Merritt Island near Cape Canaveral. Jim is also part of a great group of people who put on the Native Rhythms Festival each year at Wickham Park in Melbourne, Florida. The event celebrates Native American music and culture, particularly voice and flute. |
