The National Black Book Festival is an annual event which brings together authors, publishers, book clubs and readers for a weekend to celebrate African-American literature.  This year's Festival well be held May 21-23 in Houston, Texas.

(Gwen Richardson) The momentum is building for the 2010 National Black Book Festival, which is rapidly becoming the premiere event in the literary world.  More than 80 participating authors have already signed up for the Festival and, with three of the authors traveling all the way from Canada and the Virgin Islands, the Festival will not only be national -- but international.
